Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser became one of the first players in the league to refuse a short term extension. The winger, according to The Daily Mail, has his heart set on a move to Goodison Park.
The report states that Fraser has told team-mates at Dean Court that he now sees Everton as his best option.
The Scotland winger has also been heavily linked with North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal.
Fraser is still under contract for his teams next two games against Crystal Palace at home and Wolves away. However, with his contract due to expire at the end of the month, we have likely seen him play his last game for Bournemouth.
Fraser has stated that the risk of injury if he played past June 30th is too high as he looks to secure a big-money move.
The stumbling block in any deal maybe Fraser’s wage demand. The Scottish international is asking the interested club for £100,000-a-week, a figure that could be deemed too high.
Also, Fraser’s form has dipped this season (One goal and four assists) from last season (seven goals and 14 assists). Although, there is no surprise with the drop as Bournemouth have spent much of the season in and around the relegation zone.
With his seven-year spell with Bournemouth at the club set to be over, can Bournemouth’s loss be another clubs gain?
