Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has announced plans to have a guard of honour for Liverpool who visit the Etihad on Thursday.
The occasion will mark a week since Liverpool were crowned Champions after City lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

This is the Merseyside club’s first title in 30 years, dropping only 7 points in the Premier League this season.
Only Manchester United, Watford and Everton have managed to avoid defeat against the Reds who have been in stellar form this season.
Although some have used these results to point to Jurgen Klopp’s need to reinvest in the summer.
Especially given the fact that star players like James Milner are reaching the twilight years of their careers. More so, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah will be leaving mid season for the African Cup of Nations.
Now, last seasons champions City look to welcome the newly crowned champions as their defence of the title is over. City will be looking to get some revenge in the clash, hoping to beat Liverpool as both sides look to the title race next season.
While Liverpool will be looking for yet another win in what has been a dominant campaign.
